Summer Regional-Sedona, AZ

So we went to Sedona AZ this year for the annual regional meeting. There are a few different ways for us to drive down there, but we took the scenic way that someone suggested. It was beautiful. Our kids weren't too bad on the way down. They were so excited to stay in a hotel. Adam had to be there earlier cause he was on the comity this year. So we drove down, stayed the night in Flagstaff, then drove the rest of the way in the morning. The hotel they pay for in Sedona was much nicer than the one we paid for in Flagstaff. Of course the first thing the kids wanted to do was swim.
We had to do a lot more swimming without Daddy this year cause he was more busy helping that other years. So that wasn't ideal. Makes me more excited for next year cause he won't have to help and he'll get to hang out with us more.
The cute lady at the bar where we got some lunch made the kids a yummy blue coconut smoothie. They were in heaven and spoiled.
The theme they did this year was a Charlie Brown one. So for their opening skit Adam was Schroeder the character that plays the piano. Charlie Brown isn't ideal in my mind, but whatever people liked it. I tried to show my kids what show it is, cause we had a themed dinner where we had to dress up. I don't love the show I think the characters are funny but rude. Not something I care to have my kids watching, but I explained enough that they were excited to be a character.
It reminded us of a Park City town in a desert setting.
They had this cute guy that brought his horse and sang.
Kids camp wasn't Milo's favorite but he survived. The other two loved it. Next year will be easier I think. I also think I say that every year.
We went with a group to a fishing pond farm. It actually was harder than we thought it would be to catch fish. Those suckers were smarter than we thought. They would come and steal your bait off your hook. So Milo caught one right away and squealed all giddy when we got it.
Ollie caught one and wanted nothing to do with it. He had fun catching it and was kinda bored and over it. He doesn't have the patience for it.
Gabe was the last to catch hers, and we were all happy when we could finally could get one to eat the dang bait.
No fear about holding the fish.
After we cooked them up and had some to eat.
Our Charlie Brown themed dinner. It was super fun to see what people came up with.
Gabe loved that there were other girls as Sally there.
Lucy and Sally
All the Charlie Brows at the dinner
Linus, Sally, and Charlie
More swimming time
We went to lunch with our good friends
Then afterwards we went to Baskin Robins
Our award night dinner. So proud of my husband and all he's accomplished this last year in his business.
We headed out the next morning. We were glad to be there, we always have such a nice time.

It sounds like a super fun family vacation minus the missing husband.
