Tuacahn with our kiddos. Milo was kinda nuts during it, but was super excited to march right up to Santa and tell him he wanted a truck for Christmas. Ollie on the other hand wanted nothing to do with him. We're lucky we got him in the picture. Gabe was super nervous about talking to him, but still managed to tell him what she wanted.
This year we made candy trains. My kids were fans and loved it, so we'll try it again next year.
These are my fun neighbors. They've been so nice and welcoming since we first moved it. They decided that we needed a girls night out to dinner during the crazy holidays. It was super nice.
Christmas Pajamas from our ELF
Our ward party had Santa too, and Kay was in charge of it. So she worked it out so we could go in there earlier than the other kids and let Milo swap his pinky for a big promised firetruck. He was so excited to do it. He carried his BOP around in his pocket all night and as soon as we walked in and saw Santa, he took it out and marched up to him with it. Saying, "Here ya go. Truck?" He got his truck. He wanted a firetruck so much that even on Christmas he wanted all of his presents to be firetrucks.
Ollie refused to even go by him. I'm not gonna force my kids ever onto a Santa. Making them afraid or hate Santa, not so much my objective. So we just watched.
Every year we make a home made ornament. Since my kids are all into Ninja turtles this year, we made the ones that are all over Pinterest. They turned out super cute.

An app we got that turned you into Christmas characters. It was fun to play on. Even though whoever got the nutcracker face looked freaky.
A night at the temple looking at the lights. Milo loved the pretty lights so much he still occasionally asks to go see them again.
My kids love the nativity and love to watch it. I end up watching my kids more than the things that light up as they tell the story. Only cause I know they feel the spirit. They are so still and quiet and reverent. It doesn't happen too often they all are that way, so it almost brings me to tears when we watch it. I know they're getting something out of it. I l love those moments! It's Gabe's favorite part about going, more than the pretty lights and she gets upset when other kids are noisy and she can't listen.

Gabe's dance performance day. They are doing a big performance in the spring, but just had a viewing day for December where families were invited to watch a class and then they performed for us. It was super cute. She did a ballet and a tap performance. The tap one they sang as the tapped to "Santa Clause is Coming to Town." The studio put on a Nutcracker performance that you could try out for, but it conflicted with her soccer schedule. SO she is excited for her Spring performance when she can perform on a stage. She loves it. She's in the yellow skirt.

A holiday season full of fun - like usual at your house. Thanks for inviting Michele down. She said she had a great time. And believe it or not our Christmas was nice too - though very quiet.
