We had a big change of plans in our summer vaca plan. We were supposed to spend some time in Lake Powell, but long story short we had a baptism come up and were all informed kind of last minute. SOOOO we tried to savor some vaca memory moments up north with some Fam instead.
We spent the first night at the drive in. It was fun and all my kids made it half way thru the first movie and they all fell asleep. It was kinda nice to just hang with Adam and watch some shows. Man I wish we had a drive-in here.
Abe and Heidi brought Adam a pitcher of Ottai. He was a happy man.

The next day we planned on boating at Utah Lake. We thought we'd only be a few hours, cause the water doesn't stay nice very long. BUT it was soooo nice all day, so we stayed a while and enjoyed ourselves. We all got a little burnt, but it's ok it was worth it.
Daddy rocked it wake boarding wish if could say the same. I was so off. I guess that happens when you do it once a year.
Gabe tried wake boarding, and knee boarding. She wasn't a fan of wake boarding, but had some fun with the knee board. So proud of her.
They brought the best tube to play on. It was so fun. Gabe is quite the light weight and when going over some bumps flew and crashed into the back of Ty's head. We weren't there for it, cause we went to wakeboard with Grandpa. Kami felt bad, but said Gabe was super tough about it. She didn't even cry lots. She just whimpered some, but wanted to get back on and ride. So she did, big goose egg and all.
That night we ate at Texas Roadhouse. Ollie loved the rolls so much he put one on two forks and and inhaled. :)

Oh boating would be so much fun. my father in law's is broken and wont take the time to fix it. now summer is pretty much over here. lame. I'd love some good water time!
