Gabe's Birthday!!!

So Gabe is obsessed with a new kids app that called YouTube kids. It's basically you tube with kid appropriate content. Anyway, she watches all these shows about making kids cakes, so when her birthday rolled around she knew exactly what she wanted much to my dismay. I'm not a baker. I honestly don't care to be much of a baker. I like to cook, but baking isn't my thing. Plus I don't love having tons of carp in the house, cause then I eat it. Anyway I panicked a bit, but thanks to a bunch of help from Aunt Laurel we made her cake look and taste half decent. 

I know it looks kinda random but I dyed it teal and purple.

Gabe loved helping me decorate it and she helped frost and sprinkle a lot of it. 

The back wasn't as pretty so we made that the back part. :)

We decided to have family parties every other year. We don't think our kids need to have big grand friend parties every year. We thought that we'd let them have them on the even years when fun things happen and they'll want to celebrate with friends in the future. ANWAY, odd years which conveniently falls on the same year every year for all my kids, we have family celebrations. We haven't quite decided what we do on these birthdays, so we kinda just went with it for our first trial run. 

She wanted donuts for breakfast. 

We decorated and opened some presents. 

Grandpa and Grandma sent her a present with Chinese writing saying Happy Birthday. She thought that was pretty cool. She got pretty spoiled from us, her grandparents, and her brothers loved spoiling her too. 

Her most watned gifts were more Elsa dress up from the Frozen Fever movie, and a karaoke mic. 

During the day she asked to go to swig, and then her Daddy took her out to lunch. She chose one of her favorite places, and they sang to her and she was thrilled. 

We let her choose a family activity and a place for dinner. She chose bowling and Chinese food. We had a blast blowing. Watching the kids do their victory dances after the knocked down pins was the best thing to watch.

We did the Habachi dinner, the kids loves watching it, and eating with chop sticks. 

We went home and ate our yummy cake. 

Not the prettiest thing ever, but it tasted good.
