A Snow Day

It started last night and hasn't stopped yet. When we took Gabe to the window to see the snow she said, "Uh Oh." My feelings exactly. :) This morning she was so content to sit by the window and watch it fall. Then later when Daddy came home for lunch we ventured outside to see how she'd like it. She didn't know what to think. Sometimes she was happy smiling and sometimes she was close to tears. (Especially when we attempted her snow angel) We then broke out her sled which she was hesitant about as well. After some time she did start to enjoy and told me, "go go go!" She then got out and found it fun to pull the sled all over by herself. When her face was all rosy and cold we went inside. She then told me she needed, "chaw." (Hot Chocolate) I agreed and we cuddled watched some Christmas shows. Here are some pictures of our snow. We had to enjoy it while we could, cause most likely it'll be gone by tomorrow. We are excited that there was enough snow Adam's classes were canceled. You wont find us complaining if we get our Daddy home for the evening, instead of out driving on the ice.

Ready for her "Chaw"

Love those rosy cheeks and cute grin. I think the attention from Mom and Dad was more enjoyable than the snow! Greta looks like she's having fun.
Will Adam have to make up that final he missed tonight?

The snow suit is so cute and I love that you were able to get Greta in the pic running! I wouldn't mind some snow right now...but our town shuts down when it snows so you aren't forced to drive in it which makes it a little more fun! Love the snow pics, Gabe's smile cracks me up!
