Our Vegas Weekend

We just spent the weekend in Vegas. Once a month Adam has a regional work training down there. Every once in a while one of the Financial Advisors will take their family down there. We decided that we would spend some time together. His work pays for gas, so we just got us a hotel for the night. We drove down there Friday after work and stopped by a Chuck e Cheese to play and eat. We don't have one here, so we looked for one there. Gabe remembered it from going in Reno, and Ollie has only gone when he was a baby, so he loved it. They loved playing on all of the rides.

He had to ride this one 3 times

After we were done we went over to the temple to walk around.

We pulled up and Gabe actually said she liked this one better than St George. We were a little surprised, but we are glad that she liked it.

Blue eyed and wide awake. His hair looks red, it does have red tints like all my other kids, but it's brown.

Don't mind their blue mouths from the candy they ate in the car

We went to stay at the Excalibur that night. We decided to stay there so that our kids could stay in a "castle". They loved it.

Hanging out

They loved these hotel pillows

It's kinda weird in a hotel once the kids go down for bed, you can't really hang out. Well maybe when you're kids are older you can. We both had one of the boys in our beds. Adam and I hung out talking in the bathroom for a while. It makes me laugh, but it was our only hanging out option besides texting each other from across the room, or waking the kids.

The next day we waited for Daddy to get done with his meeting. It was a little tricky hanging out in the room all morning, cause we didn't plan too well bringing toys or much entertainment for the kids. We had movies on the iphones, but they had watched those in the car already. By the time Adam got there, Ollie was running laps around the room. We took the kids over to M&M world. They loved being able to choose out their own candy colors and watch the 3D movie they have there.

I promise Gabe loved this guy, but didn't love the audience when getting the picture taken

Milo liked all the colors. I loved his face here. Some ladies started cooing at him and he was grinning and smiling for them. He was showing off, it was cute.

The movie is free and only ten minutes, so that's nice. Ollie at first tried reaching out to grab stuff. It was funny, he then was over it and watched the rest without his glasses. Gabe and I continued reaching, we loved it.

I love short fun trips like that - and all the pictures to help the kids remember it. Mini adventures are the best. I need one, too.
