-So then our really good friends decide to move on us to Las Vegas. They had a good career opportunity, but not so fun non the less. Greta is gonna be so confused when her friend Nala doesn't come over to play anymore. (there is a picture of them to the right) Gabe loved to lay down on the ground and play with her friend Ethan.
So we were sad on sunday when they weren't there. Just so you know guys, we miss you already. We are happy for them though. We love you guys!
-We decided to go to dinner with friends to this fancy stake house. Gabe did well so that wasn't a problem. I realized I am kinda more of a hick then I thought. They went to serve us our salads and brought out chilled forks on a platter to eat the salads with. I could only see him arranging things on a plate. Thinking it was my salad he was arranging and sticking his fingers in, I was really confused. When he held it down and it had a bunch of forks. He's like, "you need to take one." I'm thinking "mmm okay buddy." Why do they need to be cold? The whole night was that way. He kept asking us questions I didn't understand, and I'm pretty sure he thought I was an idiot. The meal was great, and the company even better. I think I have good table manners, but I guess I need to brush up on my etiquette.
- Saturday I had to work, drag.
-Sunday Gabe was crazy ornery, and fought sleep. It made church fun.
-Today Gabe had her four month Appointment. Time for more immunizations. She actually did okay. She is in the 50 percentile for everything so we are doing A-OK. Her height slowed down thank goodness. Maybe clothes will start fitting her. The nurse gave her shots, she screamed bloody murder, adam picked her up she smiled at me and we were good to go. Much easier than last time. When we got home she did okay, but nap times were tricky, and full of crying and crying and crying. Poor girl . I think we are going to survive. Now if I can figure out rice cereal, we'll be good.
-So when giving Gabe a bath the other day a crazy big spider was crawling toward us. Not about to have it bite my child, I grabbed her shampoo and smashed it in a corner. When I layed Gabe down to nap and came to clean up my mess, it was gone. I thought oh man it's gonna come after me now. It did for sure do just that today. I went to wash my hands and it was in my hand towel. AHHH! then it fell to the floor on my rugs somewhere. I quickly threw my rugs out of the bathroom into the hall so I could get it away from Gabe, who was in there with me again. It really was big. Well come to find out Greta, our usually obedient dog, decided to chew my bathroom rug while I gave Gabe a bath. I would like to think that she saw the spider and not wanting it to endanger Gabe or myself, she chewed up the rug to get it. .....No not really, I think she realized she liked the fuzziness of the rug. Dang dog. I don't think rugs with holes in them are very attractive.
-So here we are it's late and I'm blogging? That's what happens when you fall asleep with your daughter trying to comfort her from her shots. I ended up taking a long nap. So now I'm wired and can't sleep. I was just reflecting on my week and thought I'd share. Tomorrow is another day, wish me luck.....

I hope the rest of the week gets better. Babies sure have minds of their own. And they know just how to pull our chains!
