Blog to Book

After having a conversation with some friends about a website they found to convert their blog into a book, I did some research of my own. They couldn't remember the site, so I figured I'd see what I could find. I love that idea. I looked into three of the main ones that came up in my google search. The one that seemed to get the best reviews/most referrals was a website called Lulu.com. However, it was really confusing for me to figure out how to get my blog into their program. I'm sure some of you smarter than me could figure it out. I decided I didn't want it to be that complicated/complex. I wanted it to be a simple enjoyable process. Another one called blog2book.com is actually contracted with blogger.com. (you can make them through other sites, that's just the one blogger will refer you to) Their prices seemed a little more expensive than I would have liked. I also couldn't get into their program due to my private blog. (i think?) It was odd. So I looked into blurb.com. Their program is compatible with macs and really easy to figure out. I am currently making my last year posts into a book journal. I decided that since I am horrible at writing in a journal I would start doing more on my blog and at the end of the year make it into a book. I decided a lot of my posts would become more journal like instead of just pictures. Some may think it's silly, but I love the idea. I figured I'd share my newest discovery in case any of you were interested. :)

I think it's a great idea, I've seen people talk about on other blogs and I told Eric when I hit my two year mark I was going to do a book. I think it's neat, I'm horrible at journals too and my blog is kinda my way of recording my history I suppose! Let me know how it goes! oh and I think those bloggers used blurp too! Good luck!!

Well i do plan on making another random blog just for journaling purposes + some pictures updates, and keeping this one for public updates. That's the plan anyway. I'm not so much into everyone reading a public journal of my everyday emotions. Plus I'm sure everyone wouldn't love to read about it either. :)

Let me know when you get it figured out. I looked into it a while ago and never could get it -
Dad has a great journaling program you might want. Call him he'd be delighted to help.
