Letters to Santa was so fun with the kids. Ollie knew exactly what he wanted and they were all having to do with Jake and Pirates. Ha! Gabe started just making stuff up. Ah! I had to reign her in a little and really talk about what she likes to do and what would be fun. Milo I just let color on his. We still aren't sure what we are getting for him. The paper I printed also had like a million lines, so I had to let the kiddos know we were just giving Santa ideas, not expecting him to bring them all. Anyway I took pics, cause it was fun to see.
Let it Snow! (for today at least)
The kids were thrilled to wake up to snow. Our Elf Jolly made a snow angel on the counter last night and told Gabe and Ollie to do the same in the stuff outside. So Gabe thinks Jolly asked Santa to bring the snow. She keeps asking Jolly to have Santa bring it again. Whoops. Ha! I had to explain he's busy and that we are in the desert so it might not work very well.
Anyway, we enjoyed the snow for the day while we had it. We actually just decided to forget about my advent plans, and take advantage of the snow while we had it.
Although Ollie freaked touching it without gloves and it took some convincing to get him in it later. He did great and ended up loving it.
I ended up taking Gabe to school cause the buses were behind (according to the school tweet)- I didn't love or miss driving on ice. I didn't love even more watching other people drive on it. In the news it said there were 40 accidents reported in Southern Utah. I bet some of those were here. It was a little nuts. Ah well.
I DID LOVE playing with the kids in the snow. There wasn't much when she got home from school, but there was enough to have fun. We made a mini snowman that she named Freckles and Ollie named Mr Frosty. We did some snow angels in the front yard, and had an awesome snowball fight.
We played until our clothes were soaking wet. Then I stripped them down and gave them warm showers and we had a real reason to drink hot chocolate to get warm. :)

Such wonderful Angels making snow angels.....adorable!
Snow angels in your jeans. Eek. Not something I consider fun. But your snow is a bit less than mine ;)
That's a cute snowman - The big one was crazy for Hurricane!
