Life with Milo

Love this baby boy of ours. He is so wonderful. He is growing so quick. He is already trying to do and say everything we do and say. I LOVE to watch him try to be just like Ollie or do whatever he does. I LOVE to watch him cuddle Gabe. I LOVE to watch him run screeching in excitement to see his Daddy when he hears him come home from work. I LOVE when he makes kissy faces at me and gives me a kiss without me asking.

*I've been stressing so much about making sure he learns words that we get him talking. So when he does pic stuff up it's so fun. I read Ollie's 18 month post and he was saying so many more words than Milo does. So it made me more nervous, but I think he's doing awesome. My favorite by far is how he says, "Num Num" all excitedly whenever he eats something or sees something to eat. It's SOOO adorable. His newest word is, "Yeah." I think it's funny he says yeah before no. He says: Ow, uh oh, up, Mama, Dada, and Num Num. That's pretty much it. He does tell you what Santa says, what a cow says, and what a monkey says. It's a start, we are getting there. 

*He LOVES cars and makes the Brrrmm sound when driving. He has always been so into balls, it's fun to see him into something else. ESPECIALLY when he plays cars with Ollie. It honestly melts me seeing my boys play cute boy things together. 

*He follows his older siblings around everywhere and tries to be just like them.

*He knows when he has to say sorry to go give the person a hug. I guess he's observed that one enough. :/ 

*He thinks he is hungry all the time, and constantly tries to get you to give him something from the pantry. We have to watch it, and tell him no which he doesn't like at all. He still has a sensitive tummy ache. Lucky for us we've dealt with it enough, that we know when it's a tummy ache keeping him up and we know how to help him. When he wants a drink he takes you to the zippy cup drawer. 

*He is such a pain at church right now. We really are counting down the sundays until he's officially in nursery. Some people say, he's close just throw him in. BUT I've served in nursery and there is a reason the church says wait until 18 months. I am a considerate person to the teachers and won't be doing that.  We sometimes in the second hour go in with him and play. Come the 22nd he will be in there! We were gonna wait until Ollie came out, but he doesn't even notice Ollie honestly. He just does his own thing. 

*He's still pretty independent, but he's mastered his fits and throws them often. He's a lot more clingy than normal so it's throwing us off a little. He doesn't like sharing us with Ollie. Gabe can hug us and lay on us, but he does not like Ollie doing it. So since Ollie is so physical, the boys fight over us all the time. 

*He wants to climb on everything and loves being up on the beds and couch. He just doesn't get that there is an edge yet. He still just doesn't take that into consideration. So he gets mad we don't let him up often. He just barely is starting to get it. 

* He has decided that holding your hand isn't a bad thing if he can take you somewhere he wants to go. 

*He LOVES to be outside. It's fun to see him just be so happy and entertained to be out there. If you go in the back yard without him, you will hear about it. 

*When he toots he says, "Uh oh!"

*I have to set alarms on my phone to take Gabe to the bus and to pick her up, otherwise I don't watch the clock. So when my alarm goes off he goes, "Oooh Oooh!" and runs to the garage so he can get in the stroller. 

We love our baby boy. 18 months is fun. (well he's almost 18 months)
