A few weekends back we went on a hike for a free national park day. We went on this Kolob (part of Zions) trail that we haven't hiked since I was pregnant with Milo. I actually remember being ready to burst and going hiking hoping it put me into labor. Ha! You'd think I'd have learned my lesson that my body doesn't let me decide when labor starts. Ah well. It was funny to think about. Anyway. Here are some pics from it.
When we started the trail this guy who was leaving had told us that he had seen a rattle snake on the trail. We've gone hiking, mountain biking, etc and never seen one. It's pretty rare actually. It was a long way up though and he said he had waited until it left. He also said he put a big X on the trail where he saw it and we never came across that. So besides Gabe being nervous we'd see one, we had a nice time. We did see a little gardener snake.
They are starting to look more and more like twins. She's always had height on him, but that won't last long, he's boosting up fast.
Hurray for sticks that entertain boys well!
Picked Mommy a flower
