At 17 Weeks....

I figured I should start up on these. Even though most of you probably don't love reading my pregnancy rants, but if this ends up being our last kiddo, I'll be happy I recorded stuff. We might be done after three. If you were to ask Adam he would tell you yes. I think that you'd have to ask me after this one. I think if we do have another we'll wait a few years. ANYWAY not important at the present time. So you can skip over reading these if you'd like.

At 17 weeks I wish I could report that I've got energy and feeling great. Nah, still vomiting. Bleh. At least this week it's not every day. I still feel like puking every day, but I don't. Most of the time I'd like to just throw up and get it over with, but I'm SOOOOO over it. I'm done throwing up. Pregnant with Gabe I threw up for around 18 weeks. (ollie i felt good around 13) For this reason Adam thinks it's trying to tell us it's a little girl. Even though we've heard from some people the same sex pregnancies tend to be the same, and other say it's totally bogus and they are all different. I guess we'll see how it works with me. I think it's a boy, but my motherly instinct has been wrong with every child so far, so it probably will be a girl. Ha! Either way we don't care which it ends up being, and we're excited. I would lean more to a boy so that Ollie can have a close play buddy, and cause the girl gap would be kinda bigger, but a sister would make Gabe so very happy. She used to say she'd be happy with either, but lately she is saying she wants a sister. Our ultrasound is Feb 2nd. I'm really hoping that we don't see anything and that they don't tell us the sex. I'll be so sad if some idiot slips and we've waited.

Anyway I have been feeling the baby move since around the 10th, which I love love love. I remember the date cause we put Greta down and I was super sad that day. Maybe baby could sense that I needed some cheering up. It worked. What good timing. I don't feel as exhausted as I did, but I still am taking advantage of naps when I can. :) I know that sounds a little silly, but it gives me energy. Plus I've had killer headaches despite how much water I drink, and it tends to help when meds can't. The headaches are a fun new thing with this one. I got some with Ollie, but these ones are all the time. Oh the joys of new experiences. I am happy to report my usual killer hip pain isn't there as badly as it was with my other second trimester. Hurray! I'll take it. Maybe my hips are getting used to moving around, or they are just wide enough already. :) Half of my prego clothes are still hidden somewhere in a box in Kami's basement. Including all prego pants and needed skirts. So I've been trying to make due until we go up there the beginning of February. It's getting really challenging. Everything is starting to squeeze very uncomfortably. Luckily I don't go many places and I can lounge in t-shirts and whatever pajama pants I can find that don't squeeze. Anyway I'm not sure what else there is "report", so I'll leave it at that. Here's to another week of survival.

Good things to record for yourself. I think I want a boy for you guys. But I also think you should have 4 kiddos. There's my 2 cents. :)
