At 18 Weeks

Even though I'm rounding on 19 weeks, I figured I'd still post about this week. I don't think I'll do a post ever week, but I figured I'd try to keep updated on changes. This week my normal queasiness has chilled out a bit in the evenings. This made me pretty excited thinking I was on the mend. Until it just moved to the mornings. *sigh* I hadn't actually thrown up in a week so I was really proud of myself. That was a big achievement. Until yesterday I couldn't hold anything down. Dang I was doing so good! Oh well. I actually have been pretty good about keeping my house clean. This is another big achievement for me. :) Well except dishes. I usually have some of those to do, cause they are still hard for me to do.

My newest pregnancy side effect this week: the metallic taste in the mouth. I never understood why women get this one. It's so weird. Luckily it hasn't been extreme. We have our ultrasound on Thursday. We are excited. I've been feeling baby move like crazy it's nice when they are little enough that it isn't uncomfortable. It moves mainly in the evenings.

I don't love getting dressed most days. It's a hard realization when something that fit you last week is crazy tight in places other than you're belly. It's hard to see your whole body blowing up like a balloon. Ha! Guess its time to start exercising. I usually don't get much in during my first trimester feeling yucky. And since I still feel yucky it's a little tricky. Gotta start something.

Anyway enough rambling. That's the latest and the greatest as of now. Another week down.

Thanks for sharing the good , the bad, and the downright ugly parts of pregnancy. and it is so good to hear you are feeling your little moving. Jane/John is probably just dancing with Gabe and Ollie!

Sunday's were always the hardest for me while pregnant. Brad would always make fun of how long it took me to get dressed. But I seriously was just trying to find something that fit me/looked good on me. Since my shape was changing every week, nothing ever fit the same twice!
