Stitches Out

The best pictures I could get of his two blue stitches. It wasn't a long cut, but it was deep enough to need stitches.


We got Ollie's stitches out yesterday. I made an appointment at my doctor's office to have them out, cause I didn't know if I would have to wait forever in a line at a instacare. I also wasn't going to do them myself. They were too tight and small, and way too close to his eye for my comfort. Well at my doctor's office they have you see the nurse practitioner for "simple" things like stitches removal. I was not impressed with her at all. She was way late leaving us waiting 45 minutes just to see her. I watched her walk in to the office after we'd been waiting forever. I'm understanding when I'm apologized to, but not when I'm not and left waiting. Then they took us back to the room to wait twenty more minutes for a proceeder that took two seconds, and she had nobody else to see. They had Ollie just lay his head on Adam's shoulder and she used tweezers and little scissors.

I will never again volunteer to see her, but I am glad that we got them out. I made Adam come, cause I didn't know if they would strap him down again, and I didn't want to do that alone. Man I wish putting them in was as simple as the removal. Anyway, they are out and we are hoping we don't have to do that again soon.
