Enjoying their V-day spoils from Nana.
Also enjoying his candy from Nana
Decorating Valentines for Gabe's school party and for a few other people.
Ollie was all up for it until the candy came out. Then he just wanted a sucker and to watch Gabe. He loves suckers.
Super proud of herself. She wanted to make her valentines, cause her teacher told her she needed to make some. (Gabe is very literal right now) So we did. Not sure that'll happen every year, but we enjoyed it.
She had to write her name on all of them, she was very good at this cause she writes her name on everything.
Ta-Da! Our sucker butterflies.
The actual day of Valentines. We left the kids some yummy goodies in their mailboxes. We switched the box of chocolates and stuffed bears for stuffed super heroes, and a pony and some books. I like spending money on things I know will get used. :) We still bought them v-day themed candy and books. We then made them some french toast breakfast in the shape of hearts.
Gabe was so excited about her V-day party at school. They made these hats the week of, and at her party she got to make a special Valentine for someone. Gabe chose to make it for her friend Kallie who goes to church with her and goes to a different preschool. The day of Valentines she actually got to give it to her, cause Kallie and her brother came and played at our house while their mom went and helped with their sisters's class V-day party.
The rest of the day wasn't too eventful. I had to go help with the V-day young women's girl's camp fund raiser. We made chocolate covered strawberries and pretzels for people to pick up on V-day. They were yummy and cute, and a ton of work. I spent my night at the church, and Adam had the kids draw me pictures of what they love about me. When I got home they were hanging all over the wall, and spelled out, "We Love You." Best gift ever. :)
Hope everyone else had a nice holiday!

I am the queen of slacking on my blog. I take tons of pics I just need to blog them! It's hard to use my good pics when the computer plug doesn't work. Bad excuse.... Thanks for being a good example and helping me remember!
