So this is still Gabe's favorite holiday. She loves pinching people. Although, her school gave a big lecture announcement about keeping their hands to themselves and not pinching people. She was bummed and followed the rules of course. It probably was for bullying prevention or something, which I get, but think it's lame too.
Anyway, the night before we got a new trap ready. Thanks to Pinterest I got some good ideas, and made Daddy execute them. Gabe tells us our traps aren't good enough, so we had to step it up this year. She still remembers her preschool teacher catching one, so she knows we can too. Thanks for that preschool teacher. Every year we're gonna have to make new traps now.
Ollie helped me make the Lego stairs while Daddy and Gabe got the box ready. The Leprechaun was supposed to climb the stairs, and while trying to get our fake pot of gold, fall through the tissue paper into the box and be stuck.
We didn't catch him, but he left us some snacks, and some fake gold that he called lucky gold to give us good luck. He left glittery sequins all over our house and green foot prints. He ate some of our donuts and cereal too. He also mixed up our rooms and furniture. Sneaky guy!
He took a bath this time.
Decked out in green
We had a green lunch and Shepard's pie for dinner, cause St Patty was a Shepard for a while. So there you have it.
Some Ollie cuddles when he was sad I had to throw in there.
