Just let them loose. You will soon learn to clean your floors more frequently than you are, tie up cords, rearrange furniture, put garbages under the sinks, close all closet doors, put the dog food and water up, close the door to your walk in shower, try to keep away from fire place, put locks on the cupboard doors, put away the dog's bones after she is through eating them, close bathroom doors so the toilet is not assessable- why that porcelain object is interesting i have no idea, clean off bottom shelves, pull on furniture to make sure it can't come toppling down, get on your hands and knees and see what looks appealing to you at that height, etc.
Gabe is getting a lot more independent and FAST at crawling if you couldn't tell. It is an adventure.

You do need to give her a bit of space to hold non breakable stuff she can play with in the kitchen and living room. We always kept a drawer for our littles to play with lids etc. It keeps them entertained while you are working. And then you get to clean up the mess. I can hardly wait to see what they will do at my house! Cleansers will have to go up or the doors tied shut!
Everything is such an adventure at her age...for both her and you guys. At least Greta probably helps clean up any spilled food. Good luck! After you make sure everything is safe, just have fun with it! I bet she loves exploring! What a doll!
That is too funny, I swear I did all of that and Mikey still found a way to get into things. They are smart little babies!!
OH how fun and this is only the begining. Cierra we really didn't have to big of a problem with her getting into stuff. Laiya on the other hand definitely worried especially since she thinks everything goes into her mouth ha! Well good luck and least your getting a good work out chasing after the little bug!
