Life with Ollie

Ollie at the doctor today weighed 23 pounds 8 ounces and is 30 1/2 inches tall. He was in the 50 something percentile for all his stuff. Just right bud. He is catching up in shoe size to his sister though. He wears a 4-5 depending on the shoe, and Gabe wears a 5-6 depending on the shoe. It threw me off that we had to buy him fives. He had to get shots today which he didn't love. He whined for a bit, but did alright the rest of the day. Hopefully tonight he's decent. They also did this urine sample where you put this bag thing in his diaper. Haven't done that one before. It was interesting. Everything on him was good, and things are going well.

He's just starting to say words which is kinda fun, cause he hasn't cared to much before. He says, De-Da/Greta, go, done, and something that I swear sounds like love you. He does make a Ga noise when talking to Gabe, so I think that's him trying to get her name down. He loves to hug. He hugs everything, Greta and Gabe get it the most. He now bites when he fights with Gabe. It's kinda his only defense, he can't argue back when she screams at him. It's hard to stop him, cause I'm usually in the other room when he does it. He climbs everything, and can now go up and down our little slide by himself. He also loves to chase Gabe around the house or play swords. It's cute to see them interacting more together. He also is starting to get into reading books. I think mainly cause Gabe does, and he tries to be like her.
I hope this collage goes bigger is you click on it, cause he's adorable. He kept running into things, but he wanted it on his head.
One morning he started putting all of Adam's work stuff in this empty carton.

Hugging Gabe
He was trying to eat the bubbles, I think cause he saw them blowing with their mouths and he assumed that's what you do.
He loves Greta, and lays on her and hugs her all day long

He loves our iPhones, even though he never sits still long enough to play anything. He likes to try to carry them around.
It amazes me the things he'll do or try over and over again after he's biffed it or bonked something hard. He's persistent.

I see he's still working the beads. It's a quite a fashion statement. Maybe you need him to wear a helmet when he skateboards.

He is so stinking cute! How sweet he loves giving hugs. I love his face when he is hugging Gabe. His bowl on head cracks me up. I have never heard of the bag in the diaper urine test. Interesting. Kida tries to eat bubbles, did he learn it from Greta? I don't blame him though, the bubbles are pretty and look like they could taste yummy. Ha. Cute boy!!! Love him!
