Wednesday Highlights

*Ollie awake at 6 something this morning. I guess it's a little better than five right? Except he was an ornery little guy. So at nine he went down for a nap. (three hours later) Then he only slept until ten thirty. I took a nap with him.
*Read books with Ollie and played witch vs super hero with Gabe. I was the witch with my broom and she was the fast flying super hero.
*Finished painting our bugs and put together our Skelton.
*I threw away our rotting pumpkins this morning. Gabe was very sad and told me we needed to make more.

*Lunch was left overs or PB&J. Gabe is sad we don't have the "rainbow" noodles to make cheesy noodles.

*After lunch we played, and cleaned, and I attempted to put Ollie down for a second nap. Don't know why I try. Even Gabe said to me, "Mom I think he needs a nap."

*We decided to run some errands. Browsed Kid to Kid and was very impressed. Went to Barbes and Noble and let the kids play with the train set there. Ollie wanted the books more than the trains. Love that he's so into books right now. We wandered the mall and Gabe sat on some toys and had me take her picture even though I told her we didn't have quarters to ride them. She told me it was okay, cause they are still fun and she'd smile good.

*Ate some dinner at Iceberg. Random I know, but it was close and easy when we decided too. Gabe kept asking for pizza. I told her we could have that when you get home.

*Came home, ate our grub, ate some ice cream and played. We read some Halloween books. Katrina and Ainslee called to chat. We talked to them both for a bit. Ollie slammed his face three times just while I was chatting. It was time to put him to bed. He went down at 7:30, and Gabe and I painted our nails Halloween style while watching a Halloween show together.

*Had a hard time explaining to Gabe how King Limhi and Ammon got the Lamanite guards drunk. Ha. I am waiting to chat with you, then I'm a goner. Too tired tonight to stay up.

FUNNY COMMENTS GABE MADE TODAY: (cause I'm sure you miss hearing them)

She goes, "Mommy what's that sound?"

"I don't know."

"I think it's Daddy flying on an airplane."

She told me while we were playing, "Come here witch, we need to talk. You've been naughty and you need to stop." (love that she assigns me the witch roll and then lectures) :)

"Ollie go get Mommy! Fetch!"

She did the funniest voice for her skeleton we made. I told her he talks funny. She told me it's because he's a Daddy skeleton.

Made Ollie one. Doesn't even care he has it on. He just plays with it. I'll cut it off if it bugs him.

Mine were spooky eyes, and hers was supposed to be a pumpkin face. (Okay so I'm not that good at it-you'd probably be better) She smeared hers in two seconds, and mine got that way as well while helping her get ready for bed. Oh well it was fun while it lasted.
