Zions Free Day

We went to Zions this weekend to do some hiking with the kids. Ollie is very into buses right now, because of "The Wheels on the Bus" song. He loves it and we sing it a lot around here. So we told him we were going to ride a bus. (A shuttle bus-that takes you around Zions) He was excited and we went to get on and he screamed and threw a fit and didn't want to get on. Ha! Once we got him on, he was nervous and then he LOVED it. Then we got off and he screamed and threw a fit cause he didn't want to get off. Cute boy. It took us some convincing to get him to want to hike.

We went on the Weeping Rock hike again. After we looked into it a little more, we decided the next time we go we are gonna go on one of the emerald pool hikes, there are two and we haven't done either but we think our kids could handle one of them. It's ok though, we enjoy watching the water fall from this rock. Last time we came to weeping rock it was the same time of year, so we think in the spring more water falls off. We need to go there then.

Underneath one of the bridges there, you can hike down to a beach area by a stream. We decided to go down there so I could feed Milo cause it was secluded. Once we were down there, everyone decided they needed to come down as well. Oh well. My kids loved playing in the sand. I think we need a beach trip.

Snack break

 

 

This little girl found this frog apparently and her mom made her let it go in this stream by us. Well of course Gabe wanted to see it. As soon as Gabe was gonna try to catch it the little girl ran over to scare it away so Gabe couldn't get it. I was a little annoyed. Oh we'll I guess the girl had had it for a while so the frog deserved some space.

 

Love my husband who amazingly did a push up to get Milo's hand down there. 

 

 

On the way back we loaded on a bus and had to wait a few minutes to leave. Ollie finally yelled, "GO!" Everyone on the bus stopped talking and bust up laughing. Adam then says, "Imagine dealing with that every day." Once again everyone else started laughing. It was pretty funny. Gabe was kinda over the bus ride on the way back, but Ollie probably could have done it all day. So we entertained ourselves in other ways.
