8 Years down, Eternity to go..

Most of the time when you are more newlywed, it seems like you talk to couples about how long you've been married. Now that we have kids and live in family wards, nobody really cares. They just wanna know what you do and where you're from. Maybe how many kids you have. My point is, I haven't discussed the length of how long we've been married recently. It throws me off when this day rolled around and I'm typing 8. Pretty crazy. Man, time flies when you are having fun.

I feel extremely grateful in my life right now. I have the most wonderful husband. I truly do. He puts up with a lot from me, and I'm sure glad that he does. You guys really have no idea. He always makes me feel loved and appreciated in every day of our lives together. He is such a hard worker. He does so much for our family. He is the most amazing father. I could watch him play with our kids all day long, with a cheesy smile on my face the whole time. There is no other person I'd want to raise my kids with, face trials with, and talk to every day of our lives. I love him more than I can explain. I love that I get to spend this day remembering good times, and appreciating each other. Happy 8 years babe!

Our day will be pretty low key. We had a person lined up to watch the kiddos, but Milo is sick so leaving or taking him somewhere would not be ideal today. So we're gonna get some food, put the kids to bed, and cuddle and watch a show. Pretty ideal to me.

These are the most recent pictures that we took together, so I figured I'd post them.

I know these are goofy ones, but they make me laugh. It probably sums up how we feel most days....

...and most the time we have no idea what's going on, but we go with it. :)

My beautiful flowers I got spoiled with. Getting flowers on our anniversary makes me feel more special than any other day of the year getting flowers. (Just so you aren't confused I do enjoy flowers other days) Thanks love!
We ended up going to dinner as a family. The kids were super well behaved, always a nice thing. Milo being sick did great hanging in his car seat until we were pretty much done. We got some ice cream and came home.
