Our North Pole Dinner. It originally was something completely different. However, we live in Hurricane, named that because of the wind. Although we really haven't experienced tons of wind. So the stuff that I was going to have Adam grill got cancelled cause he didn't think the grill would stay lit. So we improvised. I seem to be doing that a lot this month. :) I guess that happens the first go around. Anyway here is what we came up with. Thanks Pinterest.
I know root beer isn't the most fitting drink, but they were for what we had planned before, and the kids really wanted them.
We gave the kids a choice between a tree pancake stack, or a santa face. Ollie went for the tree, Gabe wanted Santa.
Our north pole rule, you had to be a reindeer or wear a santa hat.
We then played "reindeer games", or charades, bowling, and music freeze. (stopping dancing when the christmas music stopped-if you moved you were out) Gabe was pretending to drink hot chocolate.

Ollie was a reindeer, I think. :) He was the funniest to watch, and tried so hard. It made it so fun.

I really think I need to come play too. My poor children were downright deprived compared to your fun house.
That is so cute! Ah! I love your ideas. TOTALLY stealing them. We might have to have a North Pole night this weekend.
