We finally got some dental insurance going again. Nice, cause our kids need it. Well we all do. We tried prepping them by playing dentist when we brushed their teeth. Gabe was just fine, and even excited to go. Ollie followed her lead and did fine except for during x-rays. He did not want those done. He ended up sitting on Adam's lap to get them.
We took them to a Pediatric Dentist, cause they are just so used to working with kids. We both went cause it was early before Adam's office opened, and they were scheduled at the same time. They were super nice and helpful. The Dentist was way nice as well. We're glad we went there. He showed us the kid's X-rays, and that's the first time we got to see those. Gabe's mouth was too small to get them before. He predicted that she would have straight teeth, and that all the money we save on her, we'd spend on Ollie. Because her teeth are gaped, she has room for her teeth to come in how they are supposed to. Ollie's teeth are already pushing each other around and his aren't gaped. He said Ollie's mouth will grow some, but still be crammed. He showed us their x-rays, and her permanent teeth are coming in nice and straight. His permanent are already messed up on top on each other and they haven't come in yet. It was really interesting. I guess we'll see if this comes to pass. Guess it's better than being told they both would need braces.
When we were there they gave Milo a toothbrush. He LOVES it. It's cute.

Glad they were so happy about it. I would be with Ollie. Not happy. I hate the dentist. All that teeth scratching, rattling my brain makes me sick. Im dreading when we have to take Levi. Those poor folks are going to receive lots of bites.
I am so glad they have kid dentists. If you start them out feeling good about the dentist they may not develop the trauma that most of us older folks feel.
Ainslee keeps wanting to go to the dentist. We have no dental insurance, so she doesnt get to go. Glad the kids liked it though!
