New Years Fun

We had our friends over to celebrate the holiday. We had some yummy munchies, and some good company. Gabe loved having friends over to play for so long. She got to stay up a few hours past her bed time, which was fun for her. (she's two, we didn't need her to stay up till midnight) She was a stinker when we finally made her go to bed, cause she was having so much fun (And was way too tired). We played games and visited for a while, and called it a night at 11. Once Adam and I got things cleaned up a bit and ready for bed it was just midnight. So I guess we did ring in the new year after all. Good for us, we made it this year. We gave one another a kiss, mumbled, "Happy New Year," and fell fast asleep. Morning came a little early for both of us, but the fun night was worth it. Our neighbors did wake Gabe up a few times with fireworks, but that's okay. If our kids were older we'd have been doing it too.
