Adam's To Do List

Adam has had some caching/Mountain biking goals that he has wanted to accomplish while living here. Now that we are moving, it has put those goals into super speed mode. He has Tuesday Nights (and some Saturdays) to Mountain Bike his favorite trails, and to cache the rest of his goals. He's managed to keep himself pretty busy.

Mountain Biking
Greta has enjoyed the outings.

The top one shows the loop empty, and the second pic shows all the loop ones he found.
Finishing "The Doughnut" caches. For those of you who have been here know that McCarran Blvd is a street that goes in a huge circle around Reno. Well one cache you have to find all the caches inside the loop. We're talking hundreds of caches. Adam had most of them, but wanted to finish. It's tricky when new caches get published almost daily. He did accomplish it though. These water ones were when he was finishing it up. He had to swim out to an island in the middle of the Truckee River. I'm glad he had a fellow cacher to do it with him. Yep, he's kinda crazy.
The next goal was "The Raider Shield". A Raiders fan put these caches together north of us to form a Raiders Shield. Each cache is named after a former player. He's gone a few times out there, but this Saturday he finally finished it with some of his caching buddies Brad, and DIZ. He took Greta with him when he went, and she wandered off on the wrong trail and got lost for a bit. Scared them all, but luckily she was fine and found. It is up in the middle of nowhere.

The smiley faces are caches he has found. The shield is done. His last goal is to reach 1,000 caches before we move. He has 20 or so left. I don't think it'll be too difficult for him to reach in 3 weeks. (He's kinda an addict)

Adam is the man! If you tackle everything in life like you have tackled your caching challenges you will dominate! That is so awesome! Congrats! I can't believe you had to swim to get one, that's crazy! :)

Quite the accomplishment! How fun too! I am sure he will find fun things down in St George too.

I'm looking forward to having Adam make more trips up to Highland so he can help me get some caching in - we have thousands if St. George is rather slim pickings. Way To Go Adam!
