Adam took Gabe on a Daddy-Daughter-Date to an Ace's baseball game. Can I just tell you I love pictures of these two together? It doesn't matter what they are up to, I give Adam one rule: Take Pictures. I always love the results I get.
Gabe did pretty well through most of the game. Adam filled her up on pop corn (which she loves), candy, and peanuts. It was a little cold so at one point she wanted to leave, cause she was cold. Once she sat on Daddy's lap she was good to go again. It wasn't until about the bottom of the eighth inning she started to get restless wanting to see the fireworks. Adam kept telling her it was almost over. Then of course the visiting team hit a grand slam to tie up the game. Normally that's cool, but not when your three year old is impatiently waiting to see fireworks. The ninth inning was very long. Gabe kept asking to leave, and told Adam they could watch the fireworks tomorrow. :o) With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth, the Ace's loaded the bases, and they got to excitedly watch a grand slam and the Ace's win the game right before fireworks. Gabe loved the fireworks, as Adam knew she would. (Thus the reason he convinced her to stay) They hand out fun glasses that make the lights in the fireworks shine in fun ways.
After the fireworks, kids ten and under get to run the bases. Adam let Gabe do it, and she loved it. They had some workers help the littlest kids. They gave her a little souvenir bag with toothpaste and a toothbrush, and other coupons in it. The people that gave them the gift bags gave her a baseball as well. She is now insisting on using this toothbrush that's ten times too big, cause she got it at the baseball with Daddy. (She leaves out the "game" when saying baseball game). She was so excited to tell me all about it when she got home. Here are some cute pics from the night.

I hope Adam can find another team to cheer for, that makes some great memories for the littles.
How fun is that, I haven't been to a good baseball game for ever, sounds like it was a good one. How fun for Gabe and Adam to have that quality one on one time.
I love that they have daddy daughter dates! How cute is that! A good baseball game sounds like so much fun! From the sounds of things she did pretty good....I'm impressed! Their pics together always look so so cute! What a fun night! And fireworks with 3d glasses...sounds awesome!

That is so awesome of him to take her out. you'd think it would be so hard to keep her entertained. Sounds like the game was good. I'd love to go to a game around here. We love baseball.
