Sleepy Hollow

Last year we went to this little farm that has festive Halloween activities. Little did we know we'd move into that ward, and our new bishop would own it. That meant we had a ward activity there last night. It was fun. They did most of the stuff they charge extra money for free for the ward. BUT they didn't do some things like sell pumpkins and the train ride Ollie wanted to go on so bad. We did do some fun stuff though.

They had everyone bring soups. So after days cooking/baking for Adam's work seminar, for the 13 days of Halloween, and then for the ward party I would be happy not to enter my kitchen for a few days. :) They had so many soups that they probably had 15 crockpots not eaten. It was kinda nuts how much food there was. So ours wasn't even touched. That's ok, looks like I have dinner pre-planned. We did bring left over eclairs and cupcakes from the work seminar, and we made sure they got put out. So nice not to have those in the house, I've gained enough weight.

Here are some fun pics from the night.
Here's the headless horseman who rides around. The bishop's sons rotate taking turns dressing up different nights doing this.
We got free horse rides-Gabe wasn't sure she wanted to, but loved it. Ollie was all for it. He loved it.
They made a bigger corn maze this year. It was super cute. Ollie was the leader. He lead us in the same circle probably eight times before we told him to take a right instead of left. He was very sure he knew where he was going.
One of my young Women gets paid to do face painting there at nights. She really is talented. Especially with random requests people give her. Looks likes her doodling during my lessons pays off. ;) I loved Ollie's shark. He loved opening his mouth to show people.
Adam got to entertain Milo while we got faces painted. They went and looked at the animals everywhere. He was happy with that.
The wagon ride back to our car. They take you to and from, it's cute.

That's fun! I'm glad they loved the horses. they are the best aren't they? Levi LOVES to ride Jodis. When we say not tonight he always goes around begging travis to be his horse. Its fun. He gallops around the house all the time pretending hes a horse.
