Around the House

So my Around the house posts have become a nice habit. I think because they tell the everyday story and give me somewhere to post the random pictures Adam and I take from our phones. So usually the picture quality isn't as good, but it's nice to still put the pictures and stories somewhere. So they will probably continue for a while.
So on Pinterest I saw this bathroom that had the kid's "after bath" pictures on the wall. So they were wrapped up in towels. It was really cute. I thought maybe I would try it with my kids. Except Ollie will not let me get one of him. Stinker. So then I just started taking in bath modest ones, and he didn't love that either. So I guess that might not be happening for our wall until he's a tad older or lets me finally take one. We'll see.

Usually for FHE Adam and just switch weeks. We decided that we needed to start assigning the kids things each week. We are just starting and we aren't that good about it, but we are trying to get into the habit of it. This week the kids and Daddy were assigned the treat. They made yummy brownies to go with some ice cream. Daddy let them work the mixer.

"Uncle" Billy stopped by Adam's work, and then the house to say hi to everyone else. His mom lives out here in Hurricane, so when he's down this way he stays out in Hurricane. It's was kinda funny to have someone just in the area who wanted to stop by and visit. Didn't expect to get much of that now that we live out here. My kids really do think he's so fun. Ollie was all  over him, which he never does.

What can I say? I told you my family loves Nutella. Thanks to Daddy always eating it on his mission, we usually have some in the house. I just bought a new thing of it, so they were all very stoked to eat some on toast.

This boy hardly ever holds still and stops moving. He is always on the GO. So when he sat on the couch to lean back and "relax" I couldn't resist taking a picture of his relaxed pose.

My silly kids, so proud of themselves.

We went to the library the other day, and hung out for a little bit. I told Ollie to go choose a book, and he came back with this one. I told him, "You must be a Fluckiger." We actually didn't read it, cause he wanted more to carry around the basket full of our books. Even though it was heavy, he was determined to carry it for me. Such the little Gentleman he is being trained to be.

On the way home from the we drove around for a bit exploring bits of Hurricane. Gabe got tired and fell asleep while reading.

This week we have finally been putting up some decor around the house. We hung some hooks in Ollie's room for his jacket and hat. Well since they are now at a reachable level, he wants them on all the time. He usually walks around the house in his jacket, hat, and flip flops. He usually tries to get you to go somewhere once he has it all on.

Every morning when Daddy goes to work, the kids have to wave bye to him from the garage door. It's pretty cute, cause they bend all the way over to wave and watch until he's out of sight.

Usually when I'm in the middle of doing something, I have two little shadows that follow me all over the house. Occasionally, they'll go play with each other. One day they were being very quiet, so I went to go check on them. They were cuddling and talking on the floor. Too cute, and it never happens, so I took a picture.

We ran to a store in the mall, and the kids know about the quarter rides in the middle of the hall. We let them ride some. Ollie loved driving everything.

Okay so I know this is a random picture, but I've been giving Adam all these house projects and complaints lately. One of them is our shower head, It was a joke. I LOVE hot showers, but showering in one little stream of water makes it very annoying. So one day he fixed it for me. It might not seem like a big deal, but I was soooo stoked, and so proud that it was such an easy project for him to do. Thanks babe!

We've been getting lots of rain here lately. That means lots of fun puddles to play in. Adam took the kids outside this weekend to splash and play.
Here's a video of some puddle fun

These videos are just the kids playing in the house.
