After the zoo, we drove over to the San Deigo Temple for another "surprise" for Gabe. She thought it looked like a princess castle, and wanted to talk to the bride we saw. We didn't, so she was bummed. We ran into some sister missionaries who showed her pictures of the inside of the temple, and talked to her about it. It was cute. She was happy to tell them she wasn't getting married here, but in the St George temple. Ollie even opened up to them. He kept pointing to temples in South America, so they joked he'll one day go on a spanish speaking mission. Guess we'll see.
Gabe wanted pictures in front of every color of flowers
Gabe took some pictures of us. Love how puffy I look, and how young Adam looks. Ha!
Ollie wanted a turn, so we let him take some pics of Daddy
We just hung out and talked and sat on the benches and grass for a bit. We decided we should get some dinner, and pizza was the decision. Adam saw that they had a Bj's right by the temple. This is the place in Reno we used to go for his birthday. It's yummy and we miss it, so we of course went there. So good.
We even got dessert, which we don't usually do. When they offered Ad some Pizookie (isn't that what it's called), he couldn't refuse. That's what they used to bring you out when it was your birthday. Hot cookies, with ice cream. We all loved it, except Ollie who didn't really care. He's not much into sweets right now. (except candy)
It was a long day for both kids, she conked out as soon as she was buckled.
We let her take a power nap before we attempted the pool
My kids did NOT love the pool. It was a little chilly for them by the time we went, so hung out in the hot tub. Swimming lessons are in order for my kiddos this summer I think
Ollie didn't love the water, we were surprised. He was okay sticking his feet in the hot tub. It also had been quite the long day, so we took them back soon after to get them in bed.

I love the San Diego Temple! I agree with Gabe, it does look like a princess castle. So funny she insists she is going to get married at the St. George temple. That is great Ollie got into it too. That would be hilarious if he did go on a spanish speaking mission after that. You could let him know you predicted it way back when.... :) Bummer the pool was too cold for them. But wow what a fun filled day!
It does look like a princess castle. What a beutiful temple!
