With all the drama with our place and stuff going down, I've been forced to combine days. I say forced, cause it's true. This is really putting a damper on our holiday celebrating. It's hard to tell the kids we can't do one today, cause we have to pack, clean, house hunt, etc. No fun at all. HOWEVER, when we do get around to doing them, we have some fun.
I was kinda planning on the pumpkin patch visit with the CORN maze for the candy corn day, but we did that earlier this month. Glad we did, cause with all our drama going on, not sure that we would have gotten around to doing it. So for this day I found preschool learning stuff that was candy corn related. I love that Gabe finds joy in learning right now. It's a nice excuse to do alphabet candy corn matching. Ollie liked it too, although he needed assistance of course. He was stoked when he had one complete though. I also helped him write some "C"s and he liked that as well.
Milo happy to be there.
Since it was our vampire day as well, the kids used their candy corn as vampire teeth. (Inspired by the picture of Daddy at the bottom of this post)
We made vampire bite cookies. I was a little rushed to get these done, cause we were going rental house hunting this night. They turned out just okay. They are supposed to look like vampires took bites from them. My jelly wasn't really red-red either. Oh well, Gabe thought they were clever. I had the funnest vampire in the dark game planned, another hide and go seek version that I know my kids would have loved, but we didn't get to play. I think I'll play it on Halloween maybe.
Adam actually sent this to his friend to tease him, and I thought this was funny so I posted it. My kids think it's hilarious.
