Tonight during Family home evening, Adam had the lesson and taught Gabe about Jesus coming to the America's to see the Nephites. He then showed her pictures, and part of a movie where he ascended back into Heaven. He told her Jesus went ba-bye to Heaven. He asked her if she wanted to go to Heaven to be with Jesus. She told him, "yes." He told her she had to be a good girl so she could go to Heaven with Mommy and Daddy and Jesus someday. A good lesson.
Well the whole rest of the night she kept asking to go ba-bye to see Jesus. She really thought that was in the plan for the evening, that we would go pay Jesus a visit. Ha. Adam had to run to our friend's around the corner to get something ready for a young men's campout coming up, and she went with him. I'm hoping she's not disappointed when they get to the house and she realizes Jesus isn't there. I'm pretty sure she thinks that's where they are going. I thought it was cute.
