Some Backyard Fun

We have a little kiddie pool we got last year for Gabe. It seems kinda small now, but she LOVES to play in it. We've been doing it all week. The first day that I got it out, I told her we had to wait for the hose water to warm up before we could play in it. She didn't want to wait, so she got right in without her suit. She didn't care, it was fun. So we got on her suit, which she loves, she tells me, lathered her up and played in the water. Her favorite thing was to try and splash Greta, or anyone sitting close. She didn't stop laughing, it was cute.

This picture makes me laugh. Greta would try and drink the water, so Gabe tried to lick it up as well. Kinda gross I know, but it was amusing to me.


Discovering letting the water out is a fun thing to do.



Another night Adam put a sprinkler on the hose, to try and get her to run through it. She didn't want in it, but she loved to run around it and play with the water. She was even willing to stick her face in it to try and drink it, but still wouldn't get in it. Hey at least she thought it was fun.





And what's a summer without bubbles? She always wants to blow bubbles by herself, but gets really frustrated she can't do it. So we got this bubble blower that you hold the button and it blows a million bubbles. She loves it, and dances around yelling, "Bubbles! I love them!" Definitely worth the purchase.
